Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Swami Prakashanand Ayurved Research Center (SPARC) has a multidisclipinary team of experts in Ayurved, Clinical specialities and Life Sciences. The mission of SPARC is to conduct research, provide clinical services and develop educational modules in AYURVIDYA -an integral disclipline embracing Ayurved and Life Sciences. This involves correlation of Ancient Insights and Modern Discoveries (AIMD).
At the time of inaugaration of this project Shri Jayprakash Narayan stated, " The Bhavan's new project ' Ancient Insights and Modern Discoveries' is an earnest attempt at exploring the possibilities of a meaningful correlation between the ancient insights - intutive discoveries of India's seers and saints and modern scientific discoveries and technological achievements. To my mind, this is one of the most significant projects ever undertaken in this country. "
