DETAILED PROGRAMME WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM THE COLLEGE NOTICE BOARD. Students passing the Higher Secondary Examination in Arts or Science conducted by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education, or any other equivalent examination conducted by any other recognized Board/Council in India or abroad are eligible to apply, subject to the fulfillment of the conditions as laid down by the college authority, the Education Directorate of the Government of West Bengal, and the West Bengal State University, North 24 Parganas from time to time.

For SC and ST candidates - Forms will be issued to the candidates having 40% marks in aggregate or 40% marks in concerned subject(s) in HS or equivalent examination as stipulated by the Calcutta University letter No - CSR/84/2001 dated 11-04-2001.
For Physically Handicapped candidates - 3% seats are reserved for Physically Handicapped candidates. Forms will be issued to the candidates having 45% marks in aggregate or 50% marks in concerned subject(s)  in HS or equivalent examination.

  • Admission is granted only to the deserving regular students strictly on the basis of merit

  • Students of  the College, unsuccessful in the previous University examinations, or seeking re-admission for some other reasons have to apply with their mark-sheets of the last examination within fifteen days from the date publication of the results. They, however, cannot claim re-admission as a matter of right. The College record, the performance at the University Examinations, availability of seats are taken into consideration before granting admission to such students.

  • No change of course is allowed after the date specified by the University for such purpose.

  • All admission are provisional until confirmed by the University. Admission of any candidate in contravention of the University regulations and restrictions, or in contravention of any rules framed by the College authorities, even though detected afterwards, shall be cancelled without reference.

  • Principal’s decision is final in all cases of admission .

A candidate may collect a maximum number of two Application Form from the College office to apply for admission into TWO different Honours subjects of his/her choice.

Documents required to be enclosed with each admission from are as follows -

One passport size photographs duly attested, is to be fixed on the specified space of the Application Form;
Attested copies of -

§         Marks-sheet of  last public examination

§         Certificate in proof of age

§         Character certificate from the Head of the institution last attended

§         Caste certificate in the case of the SC/ST candidate

§         Migration certificate for the candidates from Board/Council/University other than West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or West Bengal State University in original.

Candidates belonging to Schedule Caste(SC) and Schedule Tribe(ST) are admitted to the merit in the seats reserved for them as per Government Orders issued on the subject time to time.

Names of the candidates selected for admission will be notified on the college notice board. Individual information are not given to any candidate. Claim to admission shall be forfeited if admission is not taken within the specified date and hours as to be mentioned on the admission list(s).

The admission Lists - Selection & Waiting will be published on the College Notice Board.
 

The Merit List will be published on 20/06/2008 after 4:00pm in the College Notice Board
