Bhaskaracharya Pratishthana is organizing a `Research Training Program in Hodge Theory.'

The prerequisites for the course are Topics in Algebra by I. N. Herstein and Principles of Mathematical Analysis by W. Rudin. The course structure is as follows:


Representation Theory of Finite Groups, Manifold Theory, Lie Groups, Representation Theory of Compact Lie Groups, Representation Theory of sl_n( C), Homological Algebra, Cohomology of Sheaves, Algebraic Geometry, Sobolev Spaces, Elementary Operator Theory, Elliptic Operators and Hodge Theory.

Lectures in this series are being delivered by Dr. S. V. Kanetkar, since 20th September 2003. The current topic of discussion is Representation Theory of Finite Groups.
