LIBRARY: The college library has a collection of about twenty thousand books. Each student is provided with a Reading room card and a lending card (two for Hons. students) for issuing of books on loan. The cards are non-transferable and valid for one session. Library provides facility for computer searching of books and photocopying facility of the books, periodicals and other materials. The library also offers special facility for both present and ex-students who are preparing for different competitive exams.

With the assistance of students the college runs a canteen. The canteen is well furnished and it provides palatable fast foods and snacks.

HEALTH CENTRE:

A health centre is established in the college with two fold objectives. Firstly, to build up health care movement and secondly to provide medical assistance to the students.

GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL CELL: GO TO TOP

The college has a grievance redressal cell to address the grievances of the students and the staff members.

FIELD WORK:

Field work is self-financing and compulsory for Geography (Hons.) students.

SEMINAR HALL:

There is a spacious seminar hall in the college premises. It can accommodate more than three hundred people and thus ensure that seminars addressed by teachers, students, and scholars from outside are more widely attended.

COUNSELLING: GO TO TOP

The college is among the handful of undergraduate colleges in West Bengal offering counseling facilities to students. There is a special accommodation for both students and teachers for counseling.

PLAYGROUND:

The playground of the college is situated at 6, Riverside Road. Arrangements are being made to equip the ground with athlete tracks.

COMMON ROOM:

The Boy's common room and the Girl's common room in the college have facilities for indoor games.

Students with aptitude in any branch of sports will be provided with appropriate training by Sports Authority of India (SAI) Coaches.

NATIONAL CADET COPS (NCC) :

The college offers NCC facilities to interested students. Past cadets have made the college proud by winning medals and trophies on prestigious occasions.

INTERNET AND A WELL CONNECTED CAMPUS:

Internet facilities have been introduced to speed up the exchange of information and thus bring about all-round improvements in the standards of the college.
