Admission to the 1999-2000 First Year of the Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS)Course

University of Pune conducts an entrance test on
Physics, Mathematics and General Aptitude for 100 marks. The advertisement for the test is placed in leading dailies by the University around Mid April. The marks scored in the entrance exam are converted to out of 40 and the marks scored in Physiscs, Mathematics and Chemistry in the Std. XII examination are converted to out of 60. Hence every student has an index of 100. Merit list is put up on this index. There is no seprate quota for outside state students. Hostel accomodation is available on merit and first cum first serve basis. International students desirous of admission should contact the International Student Cell of University of Pune directly.

The entrance examination will be held on June 20, 1999 as per the latest information recieved from the University. Forms are available for the entrance test in most of the colleges which offer BCS. They are available in Fergusson College Computer Science department on working days from 11.30 am onwards. Last date of submission of forms is June 14, 1999. This page updated on: May 24, 1999
