Krishak Institute of Management and Technology is Government recognized institute which provides technical and management education to the youth. KIMT is run by Late B. A. Shende Agricultural Research and Rural Development Foundation. The foundation was set up in 1991 to provide recent and modern technological education to the Rural and Urban youth under the area of its purview. One of its aim and objective was to launch Integrated Rural Development Programme. Providing Technical Education being its one of the prime objective. Its a Technical Education Institute at Bibvewadi and was set up in June 1997.
KIMT is one of the reputed organization providing Computer Education in Pune and its adjoining area. It is affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Vocational Examination, Mumbai. Since June 1997 we have created number of Software engineers as well as computer operators. We are also working to develop curiosity of Information and Technology in the minds of children in age group 5-14 years for which the institute runs special summer and winter classes apart from regular batches.
