What is Learning ?

"You can take the horse to the pond but you can't make it drink " is a well-known saying. Learning means acquiring  knowledge and skills. You should make efforts to learn and what we do is to take you to the 'pond' of knowledge' and help you to 'drink'.

What is knowledge?

When a child touches fire (not knowing that it burns) and gets injured, the child has acquired knowledge through experience. Obviously, this is due to the fact that the child has intelligence. Thus intelligence is what transforms an experience into knowledge.

Not all knowledge comes from experience. A lot of our knowledge comes from information.

What about skills ?

A pilot has the skill to fly an aircraft . A surgeon has the skill to perform a surgery. It is true that the pilot and surgeon also have 'knowledge' but their asset is predominantly  'skill' which comes through experience only.

Intelligence is what we need to acquire knowledge and skills. It is said that most of us use less than 5% of our intelligence!!  (it is said that Albert Einstein used less than 10% of his intelligence !!). What we are saying is that intelligence is unlikely to be the bottleneck for you to learn.

As long as you have the desire to learn and willing to put efforts, you will enjoy learning!!
