Somerville Schools are administered by Lott Carey Baptist Mission in India, a registered society under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. The first School was started in Daryaganj, New Delhi by Late Dr.A F Nelson and his wife Dr (Mrs) Ivy Frey Nelson. From a humble beginning of 14 students and 2 teachers in 1968, the strength has reached over 5000 students, 4 schools, and over 400 staff. 1.
