Courses Offered

1. Complete training for issue of Commercial Helicopter Pilot Licence (CHPL)
2. Training for issue of CHPL for CPL holders on Aeroplanes
3. Complete training for issue of Private Pilot Licence (PPL)

Qualifications

• Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Maths and Physics for Course I
• Possession of current CPL with 500 hrs PIC for Course II
• Pass in 10 for Course III
• Age, both for boys and girls, not less than 17 years while joining the course.
• Medical fitness as per the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) standards

Training Duration

1. The duration of training for Course I will be about 15 months. During this period 100 hours of flying training as presently stipulated by the DGCA will be imparted on Schweizer Helicopter to qualify for issue of CHPL. Ground training on various subjects as required will also be covered for the DGCA examinations.
2. The duration of training for Course II (for CPL holders) will be about 6 months. During this period 30 hrs of flying training as presently stipulated by the DGCA will be imparted on Schweizer Helicopter to qualify for issue of CHPL. Ground training on the required subjects will also be covered for the DGCA examinations.
3. The duration of training for Course III will be about 9 months. During this period 40 hours of flying training as presently stipulated by DGCA will be imparted on Schweizer Helicopter to qualify for issue of PHPL. Ground training on various subjects as required will also be covered for the DGCA examinations.

Training Fees

• Cost of the training for Course I for the present flying requirement is Rs 8.15 lakhs including a refundable deposit of Rs 10,000. Books, examination fees and additional training if required will be charged extra. These charges will be levied at actual cost. The payment schedule shall be Rs 2.15 lakhs on final selection/ admission and the balance Rs 6 lakhs subsequently in 5 equal instalments every alternate month.
• Cost of training for Courses II and III above is 3.35 lakhs including a refundable deposit of Rs 10000. Books, examination fees and additional training if required will be charged extra. These charges will be levied at actual cost. The payment schedule shall be Rs. 1.15 lakhs on final selection/ admission and the balance 2.2 lakhs subsequently in 3 equal instalments every month.
